Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-05-09

By using Quiella — the website, the apps, or the audio files — you accept these terms. They’re short.

What Quiella is

Quiella is a free collection of guided meditations available in multiple languages. There is no premium tier and no subscription. Donations are optional.

Not medical advice

Quiella is for general well-being. It is not a medical device, not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health care, and not a treatment for any condition. If you have a serious mental-health diagnosis, are in crisis, or are unsure whether meditation is right for you, please speak with a qualified professional first.

If you are in immediate danger or having thoughts of self-harm, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line (e.g. 116 123 in the UK / EU, 988 in the US).

Use at your own risk

Meditation involves listening with closed eyes. Don’t use Quiella while driving, operating machinery, walking near traffic, or doing anything else that requires your attention. You are responsible for choosing a safe time and place to listen.

What you can do with the audio

You may stream and listen to Quiella’s meditations for personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, rebroadcast, resell, or remix the audio files without written permission. You may share links to quiella.com freely.

Donations

Donations are voluntary, non-refundable gifts. They are not payments for the service (the service is free) and they don’t entitle you to anything beyond our gratitude. They are processed by a third-party provider (currently Buy Me a Coffee) and we never see your card details.

No warranty

Quiella is provided “as is.” We try to keep it running and the audio playable, but we don’t promise it will always be available, free of bugs, or compatible with every device. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Quiella and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or the audio. Your sole remedy if you don’t like Quiella is to stop using it.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. The date at the top reflects the last change. If we change anything material, we’ll surface a notice on the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
